"Sometimes, the best way for you to restore your sense of well-being is to automatically go into your regular routine. Whether your pattern includes weekend chores, exercise or play, it's the habitual and familiar that will reestablish your equilibrium. Once you reclaim your center, you'll be able to head out and make some fun mischief of your own."
so, there we have it! it's off out for a coffee for me then (not sure about the mischief, but the coffee will do me fine)

I did NOT ever make the connection of "If looks could kill..." Well done, you!
I'm off to the cinema with Papa 'Shot.
P.S. While I didn't actively watch the shower, I did see a handful of shooting stars.
just don't go and TTTW - I've seen the trailer
IT WILL RUIN THE BOOK!!!!!!!!
Nope, saw District 9. NOT what I thought it would be. Disappointing.
Oh, I've been meaning to tell you, there's a Charing Cross Rd right down the street from me!!!! :-)
I sat on the beach and saw the stars falling...
and I saw things glowing in the sand..
and I thought of you and waved a time or three..
sorrow wonderful. . . I thought of you too while I was on the beach!
X
shot one day you'll have to come see the real one! haven't heard of that film. . . glad you saw some shooting stars
(-:
Of course the shower was watched, silly-- Multiple times. It's not done with until the 24th and there's still an odd meteor or two that gets seen.
Well, not last night or the night before--or the night before that and the night before that.
Stupid clouds, stupid storms--messin' with my ability to watch the meteor thingies.... Rawr..
I saw one!!
Day before yesterday - night.
Been watching the 'Young Romantics! or whatever it's called on Tuesday nights. It's all about the Pre-Raphealites and it's very racy! I doubt if it's historically accurate but it certainly is a fun way to learn a bit about them. Burne Jones has just entered on the scene together with William Morris.
Oh and I'd never caught onto killing looks either!
I got up in the middle of the night...two nights actually...but it was too foggy so near the ocean to see it ....sigh...
