far be it from me to share the

bits of my life that make me sad
however, today I'm in need of cheering up. . .
. . .I thought a lovely cup of coffee (or hot chocolate, Dave) in this cup (skybluepink being my favourite colour 'n' all) might do it
.
(-:
.
I hope
if there are small sadnesses in your life
that you have something
(lots of things!)
that bring a smile
to your face

I've just made coffee - Arabica: is this your preferred variety too? - here, on a cold, frosty morning with clear skies, snow on the mountains, hoar frost on the lower forested slopes, smoke rising straight from village chimneys, all straight out of Breughel. The 60-odd pansies J. and I planted the other day are resisting the frost well, as they do, but my strawberries have finally succumbed, the leaves have turned into all those gorgeous colours, and they'll fruit no more this year. I don't know why I'm telling you all this, except maybe to divert you for a second or two, and in the hope that my deep contentment may possibly rub off a little on to you.

Awwwwww....there's nothing like a bit of rubbed off, deep contentment. It warmed me to hear of the valley. :-)

And 'here's is a place where smiles happen, silly. It's with great joy that I'm privileged to come here--safe, warm places are like that for me. And you're the hostess with the mostest...leastwise you are for me.

AND I have that "I wanna hippopotamus for Christmas" singing button that's getting a workout. Just every time I wanna not have to decide something!! Yup, push the button and sing along--I'm takin' it to the Administrator's Meeting today.
There--take a smile from that! Buncha analyzing folks who wanna pick things apart instead of making a decision and living with the end results. LOL Gonna be LOTSA loud, offkey singin' in the Admin room today! *snickering* Think I'll tote the stuffed hippo, too. I can make him dance while the music plays.....

OH!! AND I got a new whitecup! More attempts to sip without goobery thingies will be made...maybe today will be the day!!! :-)

Just came in from snowblowing the driveway and I see you're in need of some cheering up. Oh Dear! I just remembered, you like snow and you don't have any. That probably makes you sad along with other reasons you have to be sad. Sorry.
You are a sweet one View. I don't like the prospect of you feeling poorly at all. Hope whatever is happening gets over with quick. I'm sending some good positive energy your way.
Peace and love and a hug for you.

You've reminded me that I haven't had breakfast yet. I'll skip the tea and porridge and have toast and coffee instead. Hope you're feeling better now xx

No snow here, but four inches are being spoken of for tonight. Not sure how likely that is though.
