do you believe in luck?

so. . .
hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmho humyou know how it goes, right?
a rather sad, lonely person wants to get out of the house on a Saturday night. . . decides not to be sad and lonely and embraces one of the options available (who am I kidding? the ONLY available option)
it must be a number's game, right!
eventually mine will come up?(eventually. . .)
.
I don't really believe in hitting the jackpot. . .
perhaps this lack of belief is doing me no good. . .

if I had a magic eight ball. . .. . .what would it tell me?
perhaps I'd be better off not knowing!
if I had a crystal ball. . . would I dare to consult it?
or would that only bring me back
to where I started:
staring at myself
.
(a scary thought indeed. . .)

Are you telling us you won the lottery last night?

I believe that the phrase is "you've got to be in it, to win it" and I don't buy lottery tickets

no, I meant I went on another "meet" (AKA "date")(I don't like that word - too suggestive)

now, if I had bought a lottery ticket and if I had been that "lucky", you and I (and various others) would be celebrating in the basket of a hot air balloon - yes, I'd drag you from your sick bed to share in my winnings. . .

(and if you felt awkward about that, you could always donate the money to your favourite charity)

Money's money. It's not intrinsically evil. It's what you do with it that counts. 'The buy Dave a house of his own' would be the first charity to benefit.

will there be details of the 'meet' forthcoming?

shot it wasn't really worth reporting - which is why I haven't

Dave that'll be on the top of the list then! what kind of house and where?

I have mixed thinking about the whole 'dating' deal.

I never thought of myself as 'dating' himself. Wow. I just realized that's still true--and we're married. LOL

k.....now I haffta think about that one a while...

OH LORD--be afraid......LOL

((((((((((((( ILTV ))))))))))))

Absolutely love the header--it is awesome!

And if you win the lottery and have a need to donate---
That's after the house for Dave, of course.

Oh....and nope. I don't believe in 'luck'.

Shoot.
Maybe I best look the word up before I make that statement.

I think luck is like accidents. You don't see them coming and you can't plan for them. But you certainly notice when they arrive.

And my goodness, yes, the header is fantastic.
