so for some reason

I was wandering about looking at things (you know how that happens, when you're looking for something and don't find what you actually want) (do you know? does that ever happen to you!) and I ended up at Klimt - one of my favourite place to end up - and thought how wonderful these two images look next to each other. . .

do you see what I mean? the juxtaposition is just beautiful. . .

I hope there is some beauty
- lots of beauty -
in your day today

*knocks gingerly*

Is THIS the right address? And Julie Andrews can't have been one of Klimt's models, surely?

...till then enjoy your dolce far niente!

With pleasure, nemine contradicente!

you're such a gent, Christopher. . . I remember when we first met, you clicked your heels together and it reminded me of a young Christopher Plummer. . .

now, since you're here, are you going to join in the Secret Santa? (arrow pointing to the right, to the side bar link)

G there, here - it's somewhere about, everywhere!

sorrow a couple of tapestries, Klimt style actually, that I'd sewn and then Dave said he liked them as they went with his living room colour scheme and I was going to make them into cushions for him but my sewing machine is bust. . .

perhaps I'll design some Klimt seasonal cards to send to my dearest (that'll be you lovely lot!)
