E-Elf c*cks up

well, even the best laid plans, eh. . .
.
E-Elf was so distracted with "lists" and "things to do" and "generally looking busy" and "clip-boards" and "ticking boxes". . . you know what support staff are like. . . that E forgot the global time differences
E
having realised there are time differences,
looks slightly abashed and very sheepish

.
imagine, if you will, how Santa gets around all dwellings (houses, bungalows, flats, apartments, igloos and - we hope - mud huts) on the whole globe at the stroke of midnight; you can (imagine this) because he does!

a very smug looking and on-time
Secret Santa

now imagine E, trying to coordinate one tiny little minuscule smaller even than a teeny weeny yellow polka dot bikini list. . . only involving three continents and not even on the stroke of midnight of the day itself. . .
.
. . .
(altho one does have East Coast to West Coast time difference, granted)
(and I,LTV herself is never quite sure if Norfolk is in
a different time zone to London Town, it sometimes seems to be)
(or perhaps a different planet)
(and are France and England on the same continent?
same continental shelf, possibly,
but really England ought to have a whole continent to itself,
don't you think?)
. . .
(I digress). . .
.
. . .could E do it?
could E heck
.
useless blinking f*ecking Elf
.
so, anyhow, amends have been taken and E firstly has to do a little snow shovelling. . .
. . .then is consigned to the wrapping department, where E has to iron out last year's unused bits and pieces. . .

. . .and then E has to match up all the papers and bows and ribbons into coordinating/contrasting sets. . .

in the meantime, you don't need to worry about E messing up your gifts, because no wrapping was required. . .

The very Happiest of Christmases to you, dearest View! All the love and hugs I have to you.

see, e-gifting saves the planet in more ways than one! (reducing a carbon footprint by no paper or mailing)(altho I was trying to work out in my head whether computer manufacture and internet hosting and electricity made an even bigger CO2 contribution. . . but then my brain frizzed out)

lots and lots of love and hugs to you too, dear shot - hope your cold clears up soon

Very nice I, Like The View. You did a great job, a lot of fun for all. Now tell me who my secret santa was!

A very Merry Christmas to you and all you hold dear. It is a little after 6:00 a.m. here in Wisconsin USA on Christmas Eve, 12/24/2009. I don't even know if I'm early or late with my greeting, but it is from my heart just the same.

Peace.
