Don't think there's much room left in the naughty corner, Mel. On the other hand there's plenty of room by our fireside (lit early this morning) to toast your toes, I - and anyone else. Coffee every hour on the hour.
shot when I was wandering around LA, only a few short weeks ago, I must admit I was thinking (somewhat stupidly, in restrospect) it's so hot. . . don't they ever wish it was cooler. . .
I suspect that my chilly is really quite warm by your winter standards (despite how chilly I find it)
Mel I had the same thought about "only once an hour"!
Christopher despite the above, however many cups of coffee are served, that sounds lovely
Sorry, conniving caffiends - I hadn't realised the extent of your needs.
I've just put another log on. And another cafetière.
None of my business, of course, but what were you doing in LA? They serve the best fried fish in the whole US (except Mel's place) on the end of Santa Monica pier.
can you make it in one of these. . . then I'll definitively have some. . .(oh, and hot mil too please) (I'm not really that fussy about much. . .)(apart from coffee)
yup! I was there (at the end of Santa Monica pier!)
and also in West Hollywood
a friend of mine is in a tv show about wheelchair dancing and we went over to meet her dance partner. . . that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it
I've been to/lived in the east coast and New York, but never to the west coast - thus it was my first time in LA, so it was quite interesting. . .
almost the full story is here, but I'd skip that and just look at the pictures if I was you!
Dave actually I only have English Breakfast, the Earl Grey is leftover from when XCH was living here. . . but, for you, I'll pop to the shops and get some in
Mel I'm about to make the first cup of the day, so I'll make two
But my baby don't love nobody
but me, nobody but me
Yes everybody wants my baby
But my baby don't want nobody
but me, that's plain to see!
I'm his sweet Judy
and he is my loving man!
No time to do his duty,
loves me like no other can!
Now when my baby kisses me
upon my rosy cheeks
I just let those kisses be,
don't wash my face for weeks!

Would you like me to warm it up for you?

Oh, THIS I'd like to see.
Mel don't encourage him. . .

Well......
*hanging head and going to the naughty corner*
(with cuppa coffee, of course...)
