moving swiftly on

isn't this cute! (it's a purse)

(it even has SWALK written on the back!)

mind you. . . with an address like that, I might think twice about unzipping the zip (which is fine, cos I purchased the purse today: so that's my "treat" for the month) (oh, and the uncomplicated coffee machine too) (altho, that would come under "essential")

so, enough about me. . .

what are your "treats" and/or "essentials"?
and how do you decide which is which?
and did you get some for xmas. . .
and/or do you have any pennies left to make a late purchase!
(and if so, have you saved yourself money in a sale?)

I bought myself a Wii for Christmas. That's my luxury for the year.

Bread and milk are my essentials.

A lovely T-shirt. And I would have bought a piggy-bank for the money I'd saved by not having to buy one if it hadn't cost more than the T-shirt. And that neither existed in reality is a compelling illustration of quantitative easing. Coffee?

Dave Mini-Teen has one, she was given a snowboarding game. . . if we didn't live in London she could be snowboarding for real. . . presumably there is a cricket game too?

Mel I knew you'd love the songs!! saving your pennies is a benefit of being home-locked. . . altho I'd be tempted to internet shop. . .

sorrow me too, hon (but they don't make them!)(a lucrative gap in the market?)

There is a cricket game. It's on my Amazon wish-list.

I, Like The View said...

...The Teen uses my Amazon account, so "my" wish list is actually not "mine"

hopefully you'll receive it

Before Christmas, I was in need of a new winter coat, and Mrs. Spadoman needed a new pair of boots. I went to Macy's and indulged. That was our extravagance for the season. I just paid the Macy's bill this week.
On my wish list is a road trip. I am so antsy to get on the road and go down South to some warmer weather and change of scenery I can taste it! Call it cabin fever or whatever you want.
Mel really sings that Llama song a little off key, doesn't she?

Peace.

PS Nice little air mail purse. You are quite trendy, I'll bet you're cute carrying that thing around :-)

She's cute all the time, Spad.

Dave you're making me blush

man I wouldn't dare comment on Ms Mel's singing. . .

. . .I'm just very happy that she does (altho, apparently she is still singing this one. . . so she might not be!)

winter boots and a decent coat are essential indulgences - hope you were able to find ones that are warm and comfy. . . as for warmth and sunshine, I'm kind of enjoying the UKs cold-snap, however that's because I'm not snowed in, the electricity still works, there is food in the nearest supermarket and I'm not pregnant (keep reading stories of women giving birth in cars stuck in the snow!). . . if truth be told, London could do with a few more inches (just so as we can really get a feel for it)

Mel I think we need to discuss the whote cup goobery things. . . I'm not sure if they are what I think they are. . .
