I wish I had the neck for no 3.

ah. . . but do you have the stomach for a hand knitted jumper. . .

Dave said...

I meant neck in the literal sense. My head fits directly on my shoulders.

My stomach is a lot less than it was before the hepatitis.

Dear Dolce Far Niente,

I would be grateful if you would kindly forward at your early convenience 3 examples of your model No.1 above.

No base nor wrapping required, thank you.

In view of problems experienced with other domestic appliances viz. freezer and coffee machine, please advise what after-sales service and guarantees you offer.

Ohhhhh...I'll take number 3 please. Simple, fuzzy warm lookin'...and in this weather--practical.

I do know how to knit. I just suck at it. LOL
But!
I can sing you the Llama song while you knit if you like....
Well, parts of it anyway...

Dr. Who? ;)

I wonder if Mel could sing the llama song while you knit in vicuna wool, the sheep song while you knit in sheep's wool, the mo song while you knit in mohair, etc, etc.?

Were we 'spose to trade some knitting for a dream catcher?

Number three looks perfect for me - I reckon I could even keep my nose warm in that!
Does knitting keep your fingers warm?

I, Like The View said...

it keeps them wanting to hold a ciggie, mig. . . but sometimes I get cramp!

man it was only an idea

Christopper "etc etc"?? you gave up a little quickly!!

shot it'll be in the post. . . at some stage. . . XX

Mel sing away!! (ignore Christopher) (or, on the other hand, encourage him to teach his choir something fun!)

Christopher when you buy a discout, second-hand, well-used, worn-out item, it doesn't usually come with any kind of guarantee or after-sales service. . .

. . .the tag just says "as seen"

Dave no necking for you then?

I'm knitting! I can do fingerless gloves and ankle warmers! I want to knit a sausage dog draught excluder (beings as I can do 'tubes') but am stuck for the head - any ideas oh Grat Knit?

the e missing in GREAT is over at Rog's in the P(e)easant - can't keep track of the little buggers

Mel said...

<-- loses 'e's all the time

Darn good thing there's none in 'llama', that's what I say! :-)

I, Like The View said...

but there is one in badger! (-:

ZiggZ I knitted by first pair of mittens this weekend - thumbs and all!!

regarding the dog, like this?I would have thought that the defining thing was the black nose and the position/shape of the ears, like this?. . . if it were me, I'd probably decrease by K2T, into a triangle shape, and then embroider on a nose, knit some ears (kind of triangle shaped, but possibly a long/widish one?) and then sew them on in the right place. . .

I need a very very long one, to go along the bottom of the front door, up round the edge, across the top, down the other edge. . .

I am trying to do broomsticking, from memories that are way to old.
what's in your basket?

Spadoman said...

And a damn good idea if you ask me. I don't need anything elaborate, but I do need some simple information about you before I begin on my end.

Zig said...

that's the sort of thing - thank you
