a brilliant brilliant read

which I can honestly say from the bottom of my heart to the very insides of my cerebral cortex (such that it is) I thoroughly recommend

The film was excellent too. I read another book of his recently, which was called "extremely loud or incredibly close" (or the adjectives might have been the other way round). That was good as well. I read that his latest book, which includes a lot about the poor conditions that animals are kept for the US meat industry, is pretty well guaranteed to turn you veggie. Since I don't want to be vegetarian, I'm not going to read it.

And. The middle word of the title of the book is and, not or.

I can't check the adjectives as I've lent it to Ronan.

I, Like The View said...

do you know, Z, I didn't even realise there had been a film until I tried sourcing an image

and I'm so glad to learn that he has more books, I'll be looking for those now (guaranteed to turn you veggie! really? crikey)

I'm intrigued. Ta!

(PS Ziggi left a link in my comments for Roche Court. You'd love it - lots of Long and Hepworth etc.)
