ooh look!

a chicken! for Mel. . .
and Old MacDonald's Farm. . .
and a red church for Dave because he likes red. . .
and the same again, only a little brighter (how bright do you like your reds, Dave?)
and for anyone who heard beautiful birdsong whilst they were out and about this fine spring morning. . .
these images are here because I was watching Tom and Jerry with Mini-Teen (English homework, I'll have you know) the other day and commented to The Teen (homework avoidance on his part) how beautiful the art work and the palette of colours were and Teen Too was agreeing (he, naturally, had already completed his homework) and it reminded me of how I like 50s fabric and patterns and I
blah blah blah yadda yadda yadda
you don't need to know the details, do you
to cut a long story short

they are the work of David Weidman

I went for a walk in the country this afternoon, and really enjoyed the birdsong, thank you. I didn't see any red churches though.

Or chickens.

I, Like The View said...

well, here you have the church and the chicken

and a reminder of the birdsong!

And you, of course, to make everything nice.

Nice chicken. I went for some walks today but was prevented from enjoying the birdsong or any churches I may have hurtled past. so it's very nice to see these.

Oh LOOK!!! A chicken!!!!!

I'm so glad you made that a reality in my day.
You gotta know just how many times I said "Oohhhh...LOOK!! A chicken!!" to really appreciate the timeliness of my chicken.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I do so detest clinical meetings....*sigh*

k....and I really, really, REALLY like the patterns--which translates to *clicking on the link!*

The sun's shining again. I expect I'll be out listening to the birdies again soon.

I, Like The View said...

Dave rather grey here. . . do you think the birds sing more loudly and more sweetly on sunny days? it certainly seems that way

perhaps it will clear up later

Mel they are beautiful, aren't they

mig hope your shoulder's ok
