Funny, my best friend and I traveled a little over the weekend. He has been scarce since he is in a relationship these days and he dedicates much of his time with his main squeeze, leaving me, his closest friend, doing all sorts of things alone instead of with my friend. He told me he is thinking of getting married. He is 59 and never been married and has sabotaged every reltionship he has ever been in up to now. And here your posts have been getting us all ready for this fabulous wedding. I might be attending one myself is seems.
nope, no church so no organ - and not even "here comes the bride"!!
the pre-service and walking down the aisle music was Spanish classical guitar, as played by Rodrigo y Gabriella (more details and some links to follow)
man cool! (the friend getting married bit, not the friend finding a new friend to spend his time with. . .)
Mel teal, pale violet and dusky pink - not a combination I'd have thought of but it was beautiful
Sorry, I was a bit succinct - what I meant was should you engage Dave to call the banns, bless the ring, announce The Voice That Breathed O'er Eden, etc., may I play the organ? Maybe with Z on clarinet in 5 sharps?
But my baby don't love nobody
but me, nobody but me
Yes everybody wants my baby
But my baby don't want nobody
but me, that's plain to see!
I'm his sweet Judy
and he is my loving man!
No time to do his duty,
loves me like no other can!
Now when my baby kisses me
upon my rosy cheeks
I just let those kisses be,
don't wash my face for weeks!

No, really? Whose? Don't tell us it was . . .
hold you horses!! noone you know. . . (or if you did, that would be weird, eh!)
I'm telling the story bit by bit and all will be revealed
in good time
Wooo. Had me worried for a minute (worried why I hadn't been invited).
I don't think I's going to marry again Dave, but I was planning to ask you if you'd walk me up the aisle if I did. . .
. . .on the other hand, if I ever needed a +1 perhaps you'd be interested?
...or a clergyman to conduct a service.
you are just so versatile! a real C21st man. . .
