The Teen learns to cook

(Nigella's dense chocolate loaf)
(well, almost) (this is kind of how we did it, but not quite) (I mean, how he did it)

Ohhhhh my. Chocolate lovers everywhere are drooling.....

Himself makes a coffee cake made in somewhat the same fashion--pours really strong coffee over it at the end--and then covers it with real cream, whipped.

That's all via memory, of course--it's been years since I was allowed to indulge. Stupid wheat flour....*mumbling*

Oh well, if you insist.

Pls to clarify whether the apostrophe indicates possession or a missing "i".

I cannot join in the hedonism. No eggs shall pass these lips.

Can I have Vicus', then, please?

Mel said...

What the heck--Christopher can have my piece too.
I'll just enjoy the coffee, tyvm!

Happy Friday! :-)

I, Like The View said...

Christopher two slices coming up!

Vicus surely that goes without saying - haven't you seen her on the telly box?

(I'm saddened that you missed my homage to your style of reporting the other day - oh well)

ILTV - didn't miss it, loved it, sorry I did not make that clear.

Dave said...

It looks a little rich for breakfast. I'll just have a little slice then.

Oh, OK, with a splash of cream.

Mel said...

LOL I knew you'd have to force Dave to try a piece.
So lovely he's willing to suffer it down with just a splash of cream. LOL
Whadda guy! ;-)
