it's enough to drive you

crazy

due to the brightness of the Cornish sunshine, I can't quite see the details of the image above, but I'm fairly sure that it is exactly the same as the crazy golf course that The Teen and I have been competing on in the late afternoons before we adjourn the day's proceedings for cocktail hour

for those who know about such things, it is a par 9 course (if you are skilled enough to get 9 holes-in-one) (if you see what I mean); it can take anything from twenty minutes to two-and-a half-hours to go around the course (depending on how many families are playing ahead of you) (and how stroppy the fathers and grandads of the children are) (it seems most mothers use the opportunity of the option of crazy golf to fill a cloudy chilly afternoon, when the grown-ups don't want to be on the beach, with the option of taking a little "personal time" at the cafe instead) (my good self being the exception that proves the rule); I don't think that Christie Kerr has anything to worry about (altho given his recent performances, The Teen could give Jack Nicklaus a run for his money)

I hope your summertime
is full of amusements,
whatever the weather

That reminds me, I went to our local pitch and putt course with my son a couple of times last year. Why haven't we been this year?

putch and pitt? I tried that once. Everyone was very kind to me and let me stop quite soon after the third escaped ball.

But I'm glad you and the teen found something nice to do in the cloudy chilly bit.
I hope the clouds left and the chill warmed up quickly :)

Wow--that sounds posh...the adjourning for cocktail hour.

I was happy to hear the bright sunshine was getting in the way of you viewing the photo.....which means plenty of sun for the beach! Woooohooooo!

It's good to have a crazy golf moment at the end of the day. Kinda puts things in perspective so you're not taking 'stuff' too seriously.
'Specially if you're taking 2.5 hours to do the nine holes...LOL....which is about what it'd take me!

Yeah, what Mel said. Tell us about the cocktail hour!
We called these places Pee Wee Golf when i was groweing up. Now, they are advertised as Miniature Golf. Par 9, HA! That means one shot per hole is par, but then again, par is what the professional golfer should shoot, so, I can rtake a 27 and be "par", as I am NOT a professional golfer. (see, I made that so I excel even though I don't)
Looks like fun in any event. What kind of cocktail did you have? Martini? Then a steak dinner? My old time fav.

Peace.

*starts dusting and tidying up*

Can't have you coming back to a mess. Undoubtedly you'll be busy enough with the mounds of laundry.

*happily humming and dusting*

I think I found that penguin suit you misplaced!
Dang if I didn't locate the stupid cable cord to the camera........

You've been away long enough now. It's time to come home, where we're all missing you.

k.....they're not ruby slippers BUT--

There's no place like home, there's no place like home, there's no place like home....

(I'm SURE that'll work!)

I yearn for you tragically.

I did some laundry while you were away and took the scrubbing bubbles to the commode. No, not at your place, at my house!

Miss you.

Peace.

I'm a bit torn here. Wanting her holiday to be absolutely marvellous in every possible way but not so good that she doesn't want to come back to us!
(Though come to think of it, there is internet there somewhere isn't there? Oh well absolutely totally completely marvellous then)

Well I'm just hoping in all that dusting and tidying I find the camera cable.
Silly thing keeps playing hide and seek....

*happily tidying*

k.....that might be a bold faced lie--I mean, happily?! LOL No way Jose'!
