I ♥ Polzeath #4

life's a beach
on cloudy days. . .

on sunny days. . .

. . .and then the tide comes in

Ooh, that reminds me of your etching of the tide coming in (or was it going out?)

What ever happened with that and may I have a print of it?

Don't get so much of that tide coming in and out, here inland.

Dave I suppose you don't

shot I have the plates but never went back to get the print because I decided I couldn't stand the class. . . perhaps one day I'll print the plates again - that photoshop job you did was probably the closest it ever came to being finished

there's nothing like a proper print tho, with the indentation the plate makes on the paper. . .

*sigh*

If and when you do, I'll buy the first (second?) one and display it proudly!

That could be a comment on the picture, or what I'm currently doing.

what I'm currently doing! good morning, Dave

Meland these are still just the ones from the phone camera. . . I really must unpack the battery charger! it's not difficult to take a great photo in such a wonderful place, but thank you ma'am

shot I still owe three people etchings, from something I agreed to do last autumn. . .

you're on the list!

Now, is Polzeath the other side of Rock, just off the Camel Estuary?

Lovely spot, if so.

Hope you're having a blast in the sand (which, as you'll no doubt already have guessed, would make it a sand-blast!)

;)

. . .just around the corner from Rock (which as we all know, now oppositre RickSteinLand, the town formerly known as Padstow), facing the Atlantic but with views of the Camel Estuary (especially in the above photos)

. . .and a lovely spot

you got it Mort!

Holy moly--with your camera phone?!

Right. More practice for me! ;-)

I, Like The View said...

yup - and the phone came free with my contract, so it's super excellent as far as I'm concerned! (and it has Tetris on it!!)

(the real camera is almost ready to go - the battery's almost charged: go me!!!)
