...it's haunting in the same way that white sheets floating around your bedroom going "ooooooooeeeerrrrrooooooooherherherherher" in the the dead of night, I suppose....
But my baby don't love nobody
but me, nobody but me
Yes everybody wants my baby
But my baby don't want nobody
but me, that's plain to see!
I'm his sweet Judy
and he is my loving man!
No time to do his duty,
loves me like no other can!
Now when my baby kisses me
upon my rosy cheeks
I just let those kisses be,
don't wash my face for weeks!

On the Beach is, of course, Neville Shute's book about the end of the world.
I don't think things are quite that bad.
I always preferred A Town Like Alice
I found Pied Piper interesting and Trustee From The Toolroom fascinating. . . but In The Wet was my favourite, I think. . .
. . .but I did love On The Beach, when I first read it as a young teen
(my mother owned almost all of his books)
Dunno about the book(s).
(don't think I've read 'em)
Dunno about the music.
(people are sleeping......)
I do know I miss the view.
And I do know I like these photos muchly, ty.

Can you still hear it? in your minds Ear?
That sound?
Oh heavenly! Those Cornish beaches have really tidy waves don't they. Just rolling in and breaking in just the right places.
Was it Neville Shute who wrote the one about the Aeroplane with metal fatigue and Professor Honey?
I SOoooo love the beach. The rhythm of the waves...the peace it brings. almost hypnotizing...
Also? I love your new header! (header? is that what it's called?)
Across the top. Tell me about it?
<--knows NOTHING about art, except I know what i like. I like that.

On the rock, feets in the ocean and sand--watching the sunset.
