the other day, a gaggle of teens turned up at I,LTV Towers (what is the collective noun for a group of teenage girls?); they are friends of Mini-Teen. . . they are twelve, going on thirteen and they look like this:

now, Mini-Teen is a chip off the old block, but (being the sensible sort) is not in a hurry to grow up. . .
. . .however, seeing the troupe of twelve-going-on-thirteen year olds made me think that perhaps it was time I took her shopping
she hasn't looked like this for a long time:

My, the Girl Guide uniform has changed a lot since I was Brown Owl.
I suppose a 'herd' would sound derogatory and a 'murder' too dark?
