Vicus asks 'Should we have said

"About what shall we have a poll".' erm, I'm not sure how to answer that (partly because all the capital letters confused me, and, as y'all know, I don't do full stops) - but, never fear, dear reader, I know who to turn to at such a moment:

to coin a phrase,
I hope this helps

POSTSCRIPT: how shall we rate the results of the poll? I mean, at the moment there are four votes for "laughing", but there are seven votes for other subjects, so perhaps "laughing" shouldn't 'win' (does something 'win' a poll') - perhaps "love" and "lounging" might form a coalition? or even, consider this: "love", "living" and "lasting" could merge and then they'd be on an equal ranking with "laughing"! on the other hand, voters are able to vote for more than one choice (I know Mel took advatage of that opportunity, did anyone else?) (actually, I suppose with six votes cast but 11 boxes ticked, someone else must have done too) so perhaps there should have been some kind of facility to rank the options. . .

I was not aware of the "more than one vote per person" factor. I suppose, then, that the result will be, for instance, a poll about Laughing about Lounging while Living with a Lasting Love?

so what did you think "You may select multiple answers." meant!!

ha ha ha ha ha

(-;

but I'm really liking your combination. . .

(altho I'm not so sure about lounging around on the sofa!! take the girl out somewhere, for a lovely walk in the park, or to grab a coffee in a cool museum/gallery cafe, or a wander along the lakeside. . .)

the girl? what girl? is there a new girl I don't yet know about?

and, pardon me for my thickness, but where does it say "...multiple..."? I just don't see it! :(

ah, N/M, I found it..it was that VERY FAINT grey text underneath the options when voting. My ageing, color-blind eyes must've missed it entirely.

I am so glad that (unlike Vicus) I no longer worry aboyut the grammar or spelling of others - otherwise i might have suggested that there was something wrong with 'I know who to turn to at such a moment' (I know to whom I should turn?).

I haven't the mental energy to worry about life or love or any of the other l's. Sorry.

I'm not worried about my own spelling or typos either, as that comment shows.

And I, for one, appreciate that, Dave! I'm a 'ohhh...there's a rule? Let's BREAK it!' kinda gal.
Not to mention my brain goes faster than my fingers and that's not my fault.....

Not only do you get multiple choices, you can change your vote(s). :-/
I'm all about messin' with things. LOL AND breakin' rules. And bubbles.
Oh.....and coffee.
Which I'll retrieve now....

I'm having a hard time trying to keep up and don't have a clue as to what this is all about at all. I'll check in from time to time and type some silly comment, but rest assuered, I'm totally lost here, but I love you folks a lot and want to just hang around if that's okay.

Peace.

PS I vote for whatever Mel voted for.

man don't mind - I have no clue what's going on half the time!! (Mel and I used to have a badge for that, didn't we Mel)

Mel argh!!!!! how could I have forgotten about the lalalalallalalamamamamamama l?!

Mel I like the fact that one can change the vote - accommodates mood swings and daily circumstances. . .

<---- needs a lot of accommodation

Dave neither am I

Dave you know to whom to turn at such time? you turn to the Fact Cat as well! amazing. . .

so, you don't feel like lounging at the moment then

I should have included "listless" or "languid" as an option

not that you are obliged to join in the silly frivolities going in my side bar, whilst you're feeling as you

shot you up to speed yet, my FAF?

I, Like The View said...

oh, I could have included "lackadaisical" as well. . .

LOL Go figure the mood struck me!
And go figure I like zlgGi's suggestion.
Gosh, I'd like an ice cream cone sooooooooooo bad.
Think it'd be okay to hold one with rubber gloves on?
yeah....probably notsomuch, huh?
FINE!

And Spadoman's only 'lost because he doesn't realize the poll is in the sidebar. -------->
Over there ------------>
Well...might not be the only reason he's feeling a bit 'lost'--I mean gosh, sometimes *I* feel lost and I've been hangin' around more than a bit.

Kinda like a bad penny you can't get rid of....LOL
Only--could I be a nickel instead, please?
And really-- a gal licking an ice cream cone with rubber gloves on wouldn't be 'odd', would it?
k....it'd be BEYOND 'odd'....LOLOL

I, Like The View said...

Ms Mel, you are not a bad penny. . .
