Bloody hell. We've been reduced to chatting about the weather. And there was me thinking that we were the natural successors to Dostoevski and George Eliot.
Summer's arrived! Dunno what you think is 'nippy'...I can just assure you it came early here. Even the plants are ahead of the norm.....butterflies even!
dearheart I'm so glad that the sun is shining for you! it is here, right now. . .
. . .but next week (second week of Wimbledon) it's bound to be raining buckets
haven't seen a butterfly yet. . . and heard on the news that bumble bees are in short supply. . . but there are greenflies a-plenty on the nasturtiums. . .
perhaps when I get to Cornwall (only 5 weeks to go now - woo-hoo!) there'll be some down there
But my baby don't love nobody
but me, nobody but me
Yes everybody wants my baby
But my baby don't want nobody
but me, that's plain to see!
I'm his sweet Judy
and he is my loving man!
No time to do his duty,
loves me like no other can!
Now when my baby kisses me
upon my rosy cheeks
I just let those kisses be,
don't wash my face for weeks!

Ask Ziggi - she'll know if the Loony Crowds have been at the Henge.
It's definitely NOT summer here.
*removes sunglasses, reaches idly for Ambre Solaire, wishing it would cool down a bit*
It's been quite warm, down by the river bank today.
they have moved on now - about as far as Glastonbury methinks

Cold, dry wind.Like sandpaper. Actually, it IS sandy - half the beach is up here.
But it's better than high humidity.
I think the sun only just made it for Midsummer! Lovely and hot now : )
