recommended reading

on holiday I didn't have a huge amount of time for books: when I did find the opportunity I was absolutely gripped by this and totally charmed by Monsieur Lelord. . .
so much so that I've already read (and again, can recommend) Ferris' previous novel and am eagerly awaiting Hector's next journey

Thanks. Just finished Andrew O'Hagan's Personality, a novel that won't let you go based on the short and tragic life of Lena Zavaroni. Mostly ruefully sad or sardonic, but moments of golden comic relief, particularly if you remember at all clearly the 70s and 80s.

Gosh--I've read two inbetween and I'm now on Four Spirits...which is kinda making me crabby. LOL

That's not an all bad thing!

Getting in a lot of reading between cuddles.
Just read The Help by Katherine Stockett. It's a keeper. (somewhat like reading another view of To Kill a Mocking Bird but a little later on)
