an update

very overdue
.
so this guy is the one who choreographed six dances the first week, five the second, four the third, six (two each for the remaining three couples) the fourth, and five (two each and one involving four dancers) the fifth. . .
.
quite talented for a chap still in his 20s!
.
. . .just imagine the girl (NOBGM) in a 'chair and the wheels spinning everytime the dancer twists around 360 or more on the spot, and you're about 5% on the way to my friend's accomplishments over the last few weeks (a little like this, maybe)

not that I'm allowed to divulge who won, you understand, or say too much in cyber space; however, if you know what to look for, you can always find out who's doing what in the real world on the internet, eh. . .

. . .and here we have it: my lovely friend is in one of these photos*!

(*you have to click the Dancing on Wheels little red button to see the photos I want you to see) but don't tell anyone I told you. . . (especially not Aunty Beeb)

and the judges? well these two knew all about how to dance
and this guy (*swoon*) knows how to use a 'chair

(it's Ade Adepitan)

but let's have a quick peak again at the chap NOBGM danced with. . . here he is, holding the flag for our country at the Beijing Olympics (his fifth!)

the swimmer Mark Foster. . .

the following image of whom is here just because I can!

hmmmmmmmmmm

excuse me for a moment, while I collect my thoughts (if only I could!)

where was I?

nope - can't do it!

(do you think more coffee would help?)

Are you sure he's not a cricket player? He could be my twin brother.

I, Like The View said...

my thoughts exactly

(you are referring to Mark? not Ade, James or Brian?)

I, Like The View said...

thought so

okay..... Whoa!

Dunno if more coffee will help. *laughing* Certainly can't hurt.

WOW is that guy fantastic with that chair or what?!

(not that I know or anything--but gosh she's beautiful....)

it's really weird Mel I've never seen her as someone in a chair - just as the truly wonderful person that she is

and yet, meeting some of the other contestants I did see them as people in chairs - until I got to know them, and then the chair kind of vanishes. . .

and it's the same when they dance - to start with you see the chair and obsess about the wheels and their balance and how they are moving, and then it all kind of flows together and you just watch two people dancing. . . dancing sexy or exciting or romantic or seductive dances. . .

the chair vanishes!

(I need to learn a little more about dancing tho - haven't a clue about the details of ballroom or Latin. . . quickstep?? passe double?? it was all a foreign language!!)

is it a bit warm in here?

the photos and clips were great...there is a guy who recaps both DWTS and SYTYCD. He links clips of the shows...but also does a great job of explaining the different kinds of dances...

let me find his site...
I'll be baaaaack.
