I will arise and go now, and go to Innisfree,
And a small cabin build there, of clay and wattles made; Nine bean rows will I have there, a hive for the honeybee,
and live alone in the bee-loud glade.
And I shall have some peace there, for peace comes dropping slow,
Dropping from the veils of the morning to where the cricket sings;
There midnight's all a-glimmer
and noon a purple glow and evening full of the linnet's wings.
I will arise and go now, for always night and day,
I hear lake water lapping with low sounds by the shore; While I stand on the roadway, or on the pavements gray,
I hear it in the deep heart's core.

Beautiful. Such excellent taste.
Is this where the progeny have gone?
Yeats knew nothing. No internet connection available there.
Oh How I love Yeats...
Sorrow me too
(hope you're enjoying your spring!!)
Vicus I thought you'd like his stab at self-sufficiency
Christopher do you know, I have no clue where they are! they flew to Shannon and are coming home from Knock, or perhaps it was the other way round
and I don't know what they're up to inbetween times
I told them that if they made it to my second favourite beach in the world (Tra an Doilin near Carraroe, Galway) or my third favourite (Dog's Bay, also Galway) I'd be very jealous
very jealous
:-)
Even from the roadway......
Happy Tuesday, ma'am.
I think I'd like Innisfree.
This begs the question rather - which is your No.1 very favourite beach?
Ah, Innisfre! Home of The Quiet Man.
There's such a thing as a 'quiet man'?!
Hahahahahaha...certainly you jest!
k....I'll go to the naughty corner.
BUT I'm here to tell ya--when there's a weather alert radio IN the house, there's NO SUCH THING as a quiet man.
Yup.....as if I can't hear the broadcast on the patio...sheeeeesh.
