oh, and folks, don't forget

the I,LTV 2009 Panto Extravaganza continues (see link in side bar)with many galaxies of stars in the cast. . . (we're still casting for The Villain Of The Piece, or perhaps that should be The Villain of Peace, if anyone not yet signed up wants to join in. . . HINT HINT)

a gift to finish off the season

here are two turtle dovesI'm going to keep one, and I'm giving one to you (yes, you!)
.
that way, we'll each have one and whenever I look at mine I'll think of you, and whenever you look at yours you'll remember me
.
cool, eh

so it's all over for another year! and

what did you wake up and find in your stocking?
.
I guess that depends on whether
you've been. . .
. . .or. . .

this year, doesn't it. . .

. . .whatever was in your stocking
and however naughty and/or nice you are

I hope that your day was full with plenty of these:

and this is my wish for you at the close of the day. . .

from the lovely people at blogspot

a seasonal word verification!

ps:
(-:

E-Elf c*cks up

well, even the best laid plans, eh. . .
.
E-Elf was so distracted with "lists" and "things to do" and "generally looking busy" and "clip-boards" and "ticking boxes". . . you know what support staff are like. . . that E forgot the global time differences
E
having realised there are time differences,
looks slightly abashed and very sheepish

.
imagine, if you will, how Santa gets around all dwellings (houses, bungalows, flats, apartments, igloos and - we hope - mud huts) on the whole globe at the stroke of midnight; you can (imagine this) because he does!

a very smug looking and on-time
Secret Santa

now imagine E, trying to coordinate one tiny little minuscule smaller even than a teeny weeny yellow polka dot bikini list. . . only involving three continents and not even on the stroke of midnight of the day itself. . .
.
. . .
(altho one does have East Coast to West Coast time difference, granted)
(and I,LTV herself is never quite sure if Norfolk is in
a different time zone to London Town, it sometimes seems to be)
(or perhaps a different planet)
(and are France and England on the same continent?
same continental shelf, possibly,
but really England ought to have a whole continent to itself,
don't you think?)
. . .
(I digress). . .
.
. . .could E do it?
could E heck
.
useless blinking f*ecking Elf
.
so, anyhow, amends have been taken and E firstly has to do a little snow shovelling. . .
. . .then is consigned to the wrapping department, where E has to iron out last year's unused bits and pieces. . .

. . .and then E has to match up all the papers and bows and ribbons into coordinating/contrasting sets. . .

in the meantime, you don't need to worry about E messing up your gifts, because no wrapping was required. . .

let's swap gifts!!

for KAZ:
"To the very dear and most lovely Kaz. . .

"This Christmas,
your Secret Santa has bought you a charming Spanish Villa
for your holiday and luxuriating needs.

"Of course, such a dwelling would be useless
without the requisite furnishings and appointments…

like this,
and this, and this and this

…including a wine grotto for
your adult beverage and entertaining needs.

"And speaking of entertaining,
the Villa simply MUST have a space
for those impromptu get-togethers

where music can be enjoyed and friends can gather.

"Of course, the cost of fuel being what it is,
the travel to and from would be financially prohibitive
without a quick means of ‘getting away from it all’ for a bit.

"Santa hopes you enjoy your new retreat
and that the New Year is filled
with happiness and joy and much love and smiles."

Money, Money, Money: Use it wisely!
*
But, when you've spent it all,
(inevitable within a few weeks of careful saving,
then one day of carefree shopping),
You will always find a penny, And remember:
.
"Find a penny, Pick it up, All good day you'll have good luck
But if you find a penny and pick it up, put it in the bank
and next month, you'll have two pennies
but then the bankers will get a bonus
and you'll be back where you started
but they'll always be more pennies
and more good luck
"
