one purification ritual I carry out frequently is washing my hands (not so frequently that I'm obsessive about it, you'll be pleased to know), so here's my favourite bar of soap - so favourite in fact that I've never actually used it. . .
yes, yes, yes, you're nodding; also thinking "how time flies! where did the year go! I can't believe it's October already!" - do you think it's an age thing? does time seem to pass faster the more years we've experienced. . .
and other things will be falling off the trees too: conkers!
(not where I live, there aren't many trees - more's the pity - perhaps I'll take a walk to the park later)
and there's only one decent thing to do with a conker, isn't there
do you think, however many years have passed, that I'm too old for conkers? actually, thinking about it, however old I am, conkers isn't a game for one, is it. . .real camera. . .
