XXX

for Vicus

(a breath of fresh air before more girly stuff)

for Christopher

when the word vers get it wrong!

planotexaslurker

why don't you have some fun in your spare time too!!

(the way to make it work is click your cursor on one of the squares and it'll light up a row in the direction that you think the word is. . .) (why is the phrase duly diana in my word search? and why is it that all the longandorjoinedupwords were going diagonal and criss-crossy and making interesting patterns originally and now they are just lined up in rows?) (*humph*)

(-;

ok, so I tried again. . . did it work better? apart from putting the wonderful KAZ in twice, did I forget anything or anyone?

by popular request: as I'm sure you all know

chocolate is as complex as wine with connoisseurs comparing* vintages and defining terroirs. . . (*leaving the rest of us to just eat the stuff, without thinking too much about it)
so, let me indulge you with the Chocolate Library and together we'll educate our palates: the library comprises some exceptional "single estate" chocolate bars using beans from around the world. . . the choice includes Madagascan milk, rich and creamy with red fruit notes; the Quebredon coffee dark, with hints of vanilla, jasmine and coffee; and the salted milk, an exceptional pairing that really brings out the flavour of the chocolate. . . yadda yadda
.
of course, the Philistines amongst you could always just pop down to corner shop and buy your own slab of Cadbury's Fruit and Nut. . .
.
. . .but if you don't fancy anything that sweet this morning, I've picked a small bunch of flowers to brighten up your desk
(actually, that's quite sweet too, isn't it!)

chain-mail

ha ha ha I thought that might grab your attention (well, not you. . . and I am only putting this image up since Dave's away this week, so he won't be offended. . .)

so, where was I?

oh yes, chain mail

so, I was sent this chain email, and I thought "but I don't do chains" but I was too chicken to respond to that effect, so I did my best and - lo and behold - various people braver than I wrote back to me (very politely) saying that they don't do chains and I admired their ability to be honest and wondered why I couldn't. . .

. . .and thru some bizarre loop of the internet that is betwist and between us, now it turns out that the person who sent me the chain mail in the first place doesn't really do them either
.
so, there we have it
.
I'm useless at responding politely and saying "thanks, but that's not for me!"

have a good day, shot!

well, I suppose that's better
than my saying I
hope your birthday lizards!
