unravelling?

no, for some reason I'm thinking of orange peel

(not because I bought marmalade yesterday, unless my subconscious is taking over) (perhaps because my skin is peeling from when I burnt - the one day I didn't put enough sun cream on) (perhaps because I was thinking of a ball of string?) (does it matter why?)

hug anyone?
and just for Vicus and Dave. . .

Ah - very nice indeed.

You could call her Emma, perhaps?

[...exits in a anticipation of the deluge of funnier orange peel gags to come...]

Do I have to hug Dave? I don't mind, I am a very open and loving person, but I think that he has issues.

I, Like The View said...

please save you hugs for my good self, Vicus

here, at least

(I'm not going into Dave's issues)

I, Like The View said...

your hugs

perhaps you need someone (me) to slather you with aloe to soothe your burnt, peeling skin?

the one for Vicus and Dave is anatomically correct?

mig said...

It's highly anatomical isn't it :)

And indeed so is the other one especially if it's expecting, er, eleventuplets.

Yes please.

I was waiting for someone else to make a comment about sex a-peel, but as they haven't, I guess it's down to me to say...

...good morning.

(brilliant!)(I'm not really here, you see, so can't reply properly)

I, Like The View said...

Dave I'm beginning to see you in an entirely different light. . .

Donnnnnnnnnnn that first sunny day is a dangerous one, eh

I'm still suffering the consequences, four weeks later

mig that's a lot of little ones, isn't it! loks delicious tho. . .

katherine. well, that's difficult for me to say, since I've seen neither Dave nor Vicus lying naked on their backs with their arms and legs wiggling in the air. . .

Suddenly I wanna orange.

Oh, man......I know where people will take that--however.

I really, really wanna play with the peel.

*laughing* There is no way of graciously getting outta this one.

Dave said...

Yes. Yum indeed.

I, Like The View said...

Mel you surprise me!!!!! I would have thought the suggestion of Dave and Vicus. . .

. . .no, I can't go there

Dave i said I wasn't going there. . .

Mel said...

Oh c'mon!!!!!! Gimme a break....
*laughing*

I wanna see if I can make a flower outta the peel.
Or a giraffe!

Oh...a giraffe would be fun!

I, Like The View said...

I'd love to see a giraffe. . . can we colour its skin in!

I, Like The View said...

actually, someone once showed me a neat trick with a satsuma: you peel the skin very carefully back from the top, leaving that little pointy bit of pith sticking up from the bottom of the inside of a semi-sphere of peel, then you fill the semi-sphere with olive oil and light the pith - which acts as a wick!

very cool

gee Mel....just how long has The Brit been gone?

"playing with the peel"
is that what the kids are calling it these days???
